This will help withstand the moisture in a basement. Cut the pressure-treated board to fit the wall or use multiple boards but place one at a time. Put the board on the floor, pushed up against the foam insulation.

If you treat metal studs like wood with a tv mount the screws will rip right out. Commercial construction requires metal studs and this is how TV's are mounted there. Web1.
