WebbIt was originally published in 1920 with further revisions up to 1939; after his death his close friend Raymond Postgate and one of Wells' sons kept revising and updating it to remove obviously outdated information and to describe the world up to the 1960s. WebbThe Outline of History begins at the formation of the universe and ends around 1969 and has been updated and revised several times. I don’t know if my edition is the most recent. This was quite a book. My two volume set was about 1100 pages and took me over three months to finish counting breaks to read other things.
